Dr. Kuang Li Lee at Academia Sinica visited PARC and met with Professor Tamiya, Professor Yamaguchi and Professor Inouye. He is working on nanophotonics and plasmonics and applying to biosensors under the supervision of Professor P. K. Wei.

The steering committee member of the Japan-China Joint Research on Advanced Photonics, Prof. Fujita visited National Taiwan University on Dec. 12th: met with Prof. Shi-Wei Chu, Dr. Peilin Chen, Academia Sinica and Prof. Chi-Kuang Sun, toured their labs and PET facility at the University Hospital and discussed on next-generation bio-imaging. He also gave a talk at the Condensed Matter Physics Seminar on Optical microscopy beyond the limit : vibrational imaging and super resolution. Prior to visiting NTU, he attended International Photonics Conference 2011 (IPC2011) 12/8-10 to give an invited talk on Raman microscopy and bio-imaging. At the conference, he discussed on the theme of the joint researches R-7 and R-8 with Prof. Fu-Jen Gao, National Yang-Ming University
