【Symposium Venue】

【Shuttle Bus Service】

There will be a free shuttle bus from Kashikojima station to the symposium venue on your right side 

when you exit the ticket gate at Kashikojima station.  It is a 5 min walk from Kashikojima station to the hotel.

 

【Get-together】

Sep 19^th(Mon) evening, a get-together will be held at Hojoen at 6:30pm.

China and Taiwan delegates and Japan Advanced Nanophotonics Program Committee members and others join.  Participants are asked to meet at the entrance of the Shima Kanko Hotel THE CLASSIC at  6:00pm.  A courtesy coach will take participants to and from the Reception.

 

【Registration】

The registration desk will be open from 9:30 on Sep 20^th.

 

【Symposium Office】

The Symposium Office will be open during the following times :

Sep 20th, 2011 / 9:00am～11:00pm

Sep 21st, 2011 / 8:00am～01:00pm

 

【Breakfast and Lunch】

Lunch (Sep 20th) and Breakfast (Sep 21st) will be provided.

Breakfast : Restaurant "La mar Classic" (6:30am-9:30am) (Note: Short pants, sports wear, yukata and sandals are prohibited). 

Lunch : Bauquet Hall "Zen" and "Bi"

A breakfast coupon will be enclosed in check-in envelope. 

 

 

 

【Banquet】

Your dinner will be served in the banquet halls "Zen" and "Bi" starting at 7:05pm on Sep 20th.  

The dinner is free of charge, as it is already included as a part of the symposium.  

 

【Poster Session】

Poster Size : A0(841mmX1189mm)

Poster session venue : Banquet halls "Zen” and “Bi" .

Please stick your posters on the panel in the banquet halls by 1:00pm on Sep 20th.  

If your poster number is an odd number, you are required to attend your poster for 30 minutes following the banquet.

If your poster number is an even number, you are required to attend your poster for 30 minutes following the presentations of the odd number posters.

 

【Internet Access】

Internet access will not be available in your room.  However, you have internet access via through wireless LAN all the times in the hotel lobby.

You can use wireless LAN at the symposium.

 

【Room Key】

Only 1 key will be provided for each guest room.

 

【Onsen coupon】

An onsen coupon will be enclosed in your check-in envelope.  You can enjoy the outdoor hot spring with this coupon at Hojoen (Ryokan: a Japanese-style Inn)

Our hotel will take you to and from there by taxi for free.  Please ask the staff at the front desk of the hotel and Hojoen to call a taxi for you.

 

【Check Out】

Check out time is 11:00am.  Please check out before the symposium starts, or during the break (10:45am-11:05am).  

We will prepare the space for your luggage in the symposium room.  However, please keep valuable things with you.

 

【Emergency】

Our office at the Photonics Center will be closed from Sep17th to 21st.  

If you need to contact us in an emergency, please call Shima Kanko Hotel, THE CLASSIC

(0599-43-1211) and leave a message with your contact number for the Symposium Office.

【Others】

There are no convenience stores or shops around the hotel.  There are some vending machines for cup noodles and drinks at the hotel.

There is only one restaurant in the hotel and it is very expensive.
